Hi, I'm Craig Balding and I work with SaaS CTOs to help you navigate and satisfy your B2B prospects cyber security.

Not only am I a corporate refugee - nearly two decades at General Electric and 3 years at Barclays - I have extensive experience working with senior technology leaders to deepen their understanding of cyber risk, decode B2B security requirements and deliver security assured key controls those prospects expect.

I have deep security expertise from assessing and testing technology platforms across a wide range of sectors and am comfortable working with dev teams to weave application security into their day to day practice and tooling to reduce security code defects and implement secure features. Through my security testing, I can help you provide credible evidence to back up your platform security claims.

My background

I am the proud founder and original Director of the General Electric Red Team.

We drove systematic cyber capability uplift through numerous adversarial threat simulations. Naturally, this made our task harder, but challenging and fun is good.

My last full-time role was with Barclays PLC. I joined as Group Head of Cyber Risk and later was invited to become Group Security CTO. I was the accountable executive for all new security technologies, including cloud security strategy.

As an independent cyber security expert, I focus on cyber due diligence, platform and cloud security, application security, security testing and assurance.

I am based in Budapest, Hungary from where I work with clients around the world.
